Physiotherapy

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is the union of aquatic exercises and physiotherapy. It is a therapeutic approach that uses aquatic exercises designed to aid in the rehabilitation of various conditions

The water allows greater comfort and range of movement as it supports the body and enhances muscle and joint relaxation. Due to the decreased forces on the limbs and spine by being immersed in the water, there is generally a good reduction in pain levels.
Hydrotherapy can be very useful on its own or in combination with physiotherapy treatment.
